Haveli dos Ventos
Where the Arabian Sea Whispers Your Name

Haveli dos Ventos
Haveli dos Ventos — the House of Winds — is a breathtaking Portuguese-Goan heritage villa that has been lovingly restored and expanded over three years by a team of conservation architects from the Goa College of Architecture, working alongside Mumbai-based Studio Lotus for the interior design. Originally built in 1887 by a Portuguese merchant family, the villa retains its original laterite stone walls, hand-painted azulejo tiles imported from Lisbon, and carved rosewood staircases, while seamlessly incorporating modern amenities including geothermal air conditioning, a Sonos whole-home audio system, and a heated saltwater infinity pool that appears to merge with the Arabian Sea beyond. Set within two acres of landscaped tropical gardens featuring a private spice garden with pepper vines, cardamom, and cinnamon, the property includes the main villa with four bedroom suites, a separate two-bedroom guest cottage, a poolside entertainment pavilion with an outdoor kitchen and wood-fired pizza oven, and 60 meters of direct, private beachfront. The interiors celebrate the Indo-Portuguese aesthetic with whitewashed walls, terracotta-tiled floors, antique four-poster beds, and handcrafted furniture sourced from Goa's finest artisans. A personal chef and housekeeping team are available year-round.
